Chris Coxon

September 2022 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Coxon as SVP Chief Communications Officer of Accion.

Accion is a global nonprofit committed to creating a financially inclusive world, with a pioneering legacy in microfinance and fintech impactinvesting, catalyzing financial service providers to deliver high-quality, affordable solutions at scale for the three billion people who are left out of - or poorly served by - the financial sector.

Mr. Coxon most recently served as Vice President of Communications at Heifer International and spent almost 10 years with ActionAid, working in the US, Brazil and Belgium. At Accion, he will be responsible for developing and executing a broad-based communications and brand strategy that supports and strengthens the long- and short-term objectives of the organization. This senior executive position serves as a member of Accion’s Operating Committee.

Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Royal Holloway, University of London and a Master of Arts in EU International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe.
