Rebecca Hayward

June 2023 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Hayward as Controller at Natural Resources Defense Council.

NRDC is one of the nation’s most effective and influential environmental organizations. At the core of its mission is a simple idea: a healthy environment should be a basic right for all of us—regardless of where we live, what we look like, or how we vote.  The organization’s unique approach combines the power of law, science, policy, and public engagement to create solutions for lasting change.

Rebecca joins NRDC from Earthjustice where she spent nearly eight years in finance leadership roles, most recently serving as Controller.  She was previously a Senior Assurance Associate at Pwc.

As Controller of NRDC she will have responsibility and oversight of all accounting and associated external and internal reporting activities. She will work closely with the CFO and the accounting team to strategically support priorities and operations in the organization through effective collaboration.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Accountancy from Colorado State University.
