The Campaign Legal Center (“CLC”) works every day to protect and strengthen democracy across all levels of government. CLC is adamantly nonpartisan, holding candidates and government officials accountable regardless of political affiliation. Through litigation, policy analysis, and public education, CLC works as a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization to protect and strengthen the U.S. democratic process across all levels of government.

    CLC’s General Counsel provides advice and guidance regarding legal issues involving the organization’s work and operations. This includes advising on best ethics practices, legal compliance with applicable laws and advising on risk management. CLC’s General Counsel will also serve as a senior litigator in the Voting Rights & Redistricting programs which engage in litigation around the country, both to ensure the constitutional implementation of existing laws and to defend new reforms against legal challenges.

  • Managing Director - Significant, High Impact Agriculture Fund
    Acumen

    Bridge Partners is currently partnering with Acumen to recruit a Managing Director, Significant, High-Impact Agriculture Fund to manage a new agriculture fund targeted at $50M. The fund is focused on investing in, supporting and scaling inclusive agribusinesses that provide essential livelihood enhancement, diversification and protection solutions to smallholder farmers in Africa.

    The Managing Director (MD) will lead the team in conversion of the fund objectives to investment strategy and eventually execute this to construct an investment portfolio which delivers the objectives. The MD will have the ability to make investments through a range of instruments like debt, equity, and quasi-equity investments in digital platforms, innovative financial services providers, and aggregator platforms. Raising the fund and managing investors who have made commitments to the fund will be an important deliverable for the position. In addition, the MD will also develop and manage partnerships with governments, not-for-profits and other players to provide essential services and support to smallholder farmers.
