March 2025 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Moody as Vice President of Advancement at the J. Paul Getty Trust.
The J. Paul Getty Trust is a leading international cultural and arts institution based in Los Angeles, consisting of four distinct programs: the Getty Conservation Institute, the Getty Foundation, the Getty Research Institute, and the J. Paul Getty Museum. These programs work independently and collaboratively to preserve and present the world’s cultural heritage through collections, exhibitions, conservation efforts, research, scholarship, and philanthropy.
In her new role as VP Advancement, Kelly will lead Getty's global fundraising and partnership initiatives, focusing on building and managing strategic partnerships that support the institution's mission.
She brings over 20 years of experience in fundraising and institutional growth, including leading a consulting firm to advise nonprofits on fundraising strategy and engagement, and serving as VP Institutional Advancement at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she achieved a remarkable 71% increase in philanthropic support and secured $41 million in FY23. Her experience also includes leadership roles at the International Rescue Committee, New York University, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and Baruch College/CUNY, consistently exceeding fundraising goals.
Kelly holds a Master’s degree in Art History and Archaeology from New York University and has pursued doctoral studies at the University of Pennsylvania. As a dedicated advocate for the visual arts, she has championed inclusive philanthropy and donor engagement, enhancing participation across the nonprofit sector.
