December 2025 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah Temkin Cahill as Chief Operating Officer for The Foundation for Child Development (FCD).

FCD is a national private foundation committed to advancing the well-being of children, with a deep and longstanding focus on improving outcomes for children in immigrant families. Through research, leadership development, and strategic grantmaking,

FCD partners with scholars, practitioners, and communities to strengthen the systems that support young children and their families.  As COO, Dr. Temkin Cahill will provide strategic leadership across FCD’s operations, including finance, human resources, information technology, grants management, and organizational effectiveness. She will work in close partnership with FCD’s President, leadership team, and staff to ensure operational excellence and build the internal infrastructure needed to support the Foundation’s next chapter of impact.

Dr. Temkin Cahill most recently served as Chief Research and Operations Officer at Child Trends, a $49M national research organization focused on children and families. Over more than a decade at Child Trends, she oversaw internal operations, led major systems modernization efforts, strengthened organizational policies and risk management practices, and served as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board. She previously held senior roles in the U.S. Department of Education and the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, where she led national initiatives on school climate and child well-being.
