May 2022 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Babak Bakhtiari as Associate General Counsel of Northwestern University.

Mr. Bakhtiari’s principal areas of responsibility in the Office of General Counsel are Student Affairs, Athletics, litigation, and compliance. Prior to joining Northwestern, Mr. Bakhtiari was a partner at a 30-attorney school law boutique where he served as outside general counsel for K-12 school districts and higher education institutions.

He received his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he majored in English. Mr. Bakhtiari received his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
