August 2022 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Russatta Buford as Chief Operating Officer at the Ms. Foundation forWomen.

Guided by a gender and racial justice lens, The Ms. Foundation for Women resources grassroots movements that center women and girls of color, advance feminism in philanthropy, and advocate for policies that improve women’s lives across the country. Every day, they help over 150 grassroots organizations nationwide fight for changes like good-paying jobs, reproductive health, ending violence against women and girls and theinclusion of women at decision-making tables. They deliver funding, build skills, develop leaders, connect activists with allies, and amplify the voicesof grantees to create change that benefits women, families, and communities.

Russatta joins the Ms. Foundation for Women with over 10 years of leadership experience. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer, SVP Operations and in other senior operations roles at organizations including DataKind, Global Health Corps, Brooklyn Community Foundation and Teach For America.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Florida A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. She is passionate about community engagement and has served on various committees including the New York Women’s Foundation and Brooklyn Community Services.
