May 2025 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Connie Chung Joe as President & CEOof AAPIP.

AAPIP is a national justice-minded philanthropic advocacy organization dedicated to expanding and mobilizing resources for AAPI communities to build a more just and equitable society. Through a powerful network of members, chapters, and partners, AAPIP strengthens community-based philanthropy, influences philanthropic practice, and advocates for justice and equity for all AAPI communities.

In her new role, Connie will guide AAPIP’s strategic direction and lead its continued efforts to advance equity in philanthropy. She will collaborate with staff, chapters, members, funders, and community leaders to build collective power and catalyze lasting change.

Connie most recently served as the CEO of Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Los Angeles, where she led one of the nation’s largest legal and civil rights organizations for AAPI communities. Her leadership is marked by a commitment to racial equity, coalition-building, and community-centered advocacy. She brings decades of experience at the intersection of social justice, nonprofit leadership, and philanthropy.

Born and raised in California, Connie is a graduate of Columbia University and UCLA School of Law. She is deeply committed to uplifting the voices and leadership of AAPI communities and building cross-racial solidarity to achieve collective liberation.
