May 2022 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Meghan Garber as a Director – Operations & Compliance Counsel at AvalonBay Communities, Inc.

AvalonBay (NYSE: AVB) is an equity REIT in the business of developing, redeveloping, acquiring and managing multifamilycommunities primarily in New England, the New York/New Jersey metro area, the Mid-Atlantic, the Pacific Northwest, andNorthern and Southern California. The Company focuses on leading metropolitan areas in these regions that it believes arecharacterized by growing employment in high wage sectors of the economy, lower housing affordability and a diverse and vibrantquality of life.

Meghan was most recently a senior in-house lawyer with Wellstat Management Company, a privately-held pharmaceutical company in Rockville, MD. Previously she was Interim Senior Vice President and General Counsel for SourceAmerica, a central nonprofit with oversight of over 400 nonprofits nationwide. She began her legal practice with the law firm Powers McCartan PLLC in Charlotte, NC.

Meghan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Organizational Communication from the University of Akron, where she graduated cum laude. She also earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron.

Meghan joined AVB this month as lawyer and business counselor. She is based in northern Virginia.
