November 2023 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Tawfik Elkashef as Controller at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.

Founded in 2002, continuing the Rockefeller family’s legacy of thoughtful, effective philanthropy, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) is a global nonprofit that remains at the forefront of philanthropic growth and innovation. RPA has grown into one of the world’s largest philanthropic service organizations and has facilitated more than $4 billion in grantmaking to more than 70 countries. RPA currently advises on and manages more than $500 million in annual giving by individuals, families, foundations, and corporations. RPA also serves as a fiscal sponsor for more than 100 projects, providing governance, management, and operational infrastructure to support their charitable purposes.

Tawfik joins Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors from Human Rights Watch where he most recently served as Global Controller. In his new role as Controller of RPA, he will be leading and evolving the accounting function and team as a strategic, client-focused, innovative, and responsive partner. He will also serve a key strategic role on the Finance and Grants Management Team, responsible for managing all accounting, audit, and tax functions.

Mr. Elkashef holds a Bachelor of Science from Sadat Academy for Management Science and earned his MBA from Adelphi University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
