Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Moersfelder as General Counsel of Sequoia Climate Foundation.
Ms. Moersfelder most recently served as Senior Legal Counsel at Open Society Foundations. Prior to that, she spent several years at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. As General Counsel of Sequoia, Michelle will build the legal and compliance function while advising the senior leadership team.
Ms. Moersfelder holds a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Central Florida. She earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School and her LLM in Taxation from New York University Law School. She is a member of the state bars of New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington State.
