Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nedra R. Jones as Chief Financial Officer at the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Dr. Jones will lead the organization’s finance function, overseeing financial strategy, planning, and operations as the SPLC continues to advance racial justice, protect civil rights, and drive impact across the South and beyond.
Dr. Jones brings more than two decades of experience leading finance and operational transformation across complex nonprofit, public health, and higher education organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer at CIEE, where she provided strategic oversight of global finance, audit, treasury, and risk functions, managing assets exceeding $100 million. Previously, she served as CFO of the CDC Foundation and the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta. She began her career at Deloitte and has held finance leadership roles across Fortune 500 and nonprofit organizations, including AT&T, First Data, BET, and Clark Atlanta University.
A Certified Public Accountant, Dr. Jones holds a Doctor of Business Administration, a Master of Studies in Law from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, summa cum laude, from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
