February 2024 - Bridge Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Meghan Jorgensen as Chief Development Officer of The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights.

The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights protects and advances the rights and best interests of immigrant children according to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and state and federal law. The Young Center exists to advance immigrant children’s rights, to advocate for their best interests, and to create systemic change. They center children’s voices, celebrate their strengths, and recognize their fundamental need to be with family and in community, not detention. In nearly 20 years of existence, they continue to be at the forefront of systemic change for children going through the immigration process. 

Meghan joins The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights from Heartland Alliance. As Chief Development Officer of the Young Center, Meghan will be accountable for achieving the fundraising goals of the Development team by growing foundation, corporate and individual contributions, expanding the donor base and managing key donor relationships. Reporting to the Executive Director, Meghan will also actively contribute to the strategic goals of The Young Center as a whole by acting as thought partner with the Chief Program Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

Meghanholds a Bachelor of Social Work from Aurora University and MA in Health Administration and Policy & Social Service Administration, Management and Fundraising from the University of Chicago.
